Dear Sir/ Madam:

We take a great pride on the grand success of the 1 st New Millennium College Inter School Basketball Tournament 2063. This year too, New Millennium College is going to organize 2 nd New Millennium College Inter School Basketball Tournament- 2064 from 22 nd to 29 th of Mangshir, with an intention of creating an opportunity for High School students with sports aptitude so they can exhibit their talent and develop spirit of sportsmanship. There will be no more than 16 boys teams included in the tournament and teams will be included on the first come first serve basis. The matches will be played within the premises of New Millennium College, Dhumbarahi, Ring Road, Sukedhara, Kathmandu. The registration form can be downloaded from the website: www.nema.edu.np

The entry fee is Rs.2500/- for each team.
We are looking forward to the participation of your School Basketball Team.

2 nd New Millennium Inter School Basketball
Tournament– 2064

Rules & Regulations

1. The regular students of Grade X and below are eligible for participation for Inter School Basketball Tournament.
2. Proper Uniform with distinctly printed numbers on the back and front side of the vest (upper garment) is compulsory.
3. The numbering of the vests should be from 4 and above.
4. The meeting and the tie-sheet draw will be done on 20 th h Mangsir, 2064 (2:00 P.M.) at our college office.
5. The participating team-members must carry current ID card signed by the Principal/Headmaster.
6. Team officials include: Manager/Teacher and Coach only.
7. A number of Fifty Students, in proper school uniforms, with Id cards are allowed to accompany the team to cheer up.
8. The teams when they reach Semi-Final and final are permitted to bring 100 students. And two teachers beside the Team Officials to look after the cheer-up teams.
9. The entire tournament shall be managed and conducted in the New Millennium College Basketball court as per the FIBA rules.
10. Entry forms must be clearly filled up and signed by the authorities concerned.
11. Any ambiguity can be solved during the Tie-sheet Draw where all the entry forms will be kept open for inspection.
12. Games will be conducted according to FIBA and NeBA rules.
13. The game will be conducted on the basis of league cum knockout.
14. All the teams must report at least 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled game.
15. In case of failure to notify the committee, it will be considered as walkover.
16. The decision made by referee and jury will be considered the final decision.
17. The team coach and the team manager must be present during Tie-sheet draw.
18. Last date of submission of the registration form is 19 th of Mangsir, 2064.
19. Protests can be made in written within 30 minutes after the completion of the match with a deposit of Rs 1000/-.
20. The team coach and the manager will be responsible regarding the behavior of the player and supporters.
21. The tournament venue is a 'No Smoking' area. Smoking is strictly prohibited and any player or supporter suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to enter the tournament venue.
22. Please make sure the supporters do not bring bags and musical instruments like drum etc.
23. As per the rules of NeBA, if either of the players, Managers of Coach is physically abusing, the official referee will take the following actions:
1. Player will be suspended for two years.
2. Financial punishment will be charged against the team.
3. The Convicted team will be suspended as a whole.
